The Revised visa fee and BLS service charge are as follows :

Note Exemption of Visa Fee for a child is applicable only in the case of Short Term category, if the child's age is less than 6 years at the date of submission.
BLS International Service charge
Applicants applying at the Spanish visa application Centre shall be levied a service charge of 24.60 SGD /- (Includes GST@9%) payable in cash. Children under 6 are exempted from service charge.

Documents Required
List of nationals required to be in possesion of an Aiport Transit Visa when passing through the international transit area of an airport situated on any Schengen Country. Check list of countries in the Annex 07B VTA.
You do not need an Airport Transit Visa if:
a. You hold a valid visa (Schengen visa, national visa) from: any European Union Member State, Canada, Japan or the USA, or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switszerland.
b. You hold a valid permanent resident card from any European Union Member State, Andorra, Canada, Japan, San Marino, or the USA.
c. You hold a diplomatic passport.
d. You are a flight crew member and national of a contracting Party to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation.
All applicants must come in person (including minors) to the Visa Application Centre. Upon consideration of the non exhaustive list of the following documents, further supportive documentation may be requested in each individual case.
You are informed that the lack of any of the documents below, might result in the refusal of the visa application.
- Schengen Visa application form : The application must be completed, dated and signed.
- ONE photograph (glued to the application) : the photo must be recent (4,5cm x 3,5cm), clearly showing the face, the forehead hairline and ears on a white background.
- Passport (Original and Photocopy of the identity pages). The passport must be valid for a minimum of three months from the date of completion of their stay in the Schengen territory, with at least two blank pages available to stamp the visa.
Photocopy of previous Schengen visas within last 3 years and other third countries valid visas in the last year if available.
- Singaporean IC (e.g. employment card/ S pass/ Dependant pass/ Student pass/ Work permit/ PR card). Original and photocopy including Validity page/Re-entry permit copy if applicant is a PR. This document must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of departure from the Schengen territory.
In the case that current Singaporean IC is in process of renovation, proof from MOM or corresponding Singaporean authority must be provided.
- A booking for a round-trip airline ticket or printout of a confirmed reservation with the applicant's name (final destination must be outside Schengen territory).
- Employees : Updated letter from the applicant’s employer, stating the details of the applicant, employment duration, designation, and confirming the holiday granted.
Self employed : final tax return and an updated statement of the ACRA.
Students : Letter of your University/College explaining the degree/programme you are doing in Singapore and your period of holidays/trip.
- Proof of the applicant’s financial circumstances
- For applicant: by means of the latest 06 months of bank book statements, or bank account statements or fixed deposit statements (Transactions included). The NAME of the account holder must be the applicant's name and has to appear in the statements. Singaporean bank accounts in either SGD; EUR; or USD will be accepted
- For minors (less than 18 years old):
It is mandatory for both parents to be present at the center during the submission of the visa application and the necessary signature process has to be completed in front of the submission officer. Please READ the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION in the information sheet for minor applicants.
- For spouses who are sponsored: READ the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION sheet for sponsored applicants.

Additional Information for Minors and Sponsorship
When the visa applicant is (less tan 18 years old), a sponsored spouse or sponsored son/daughter, or any applicant being sponsored by someone else, please read the following information to know the docuemnts and information that these visa applicants will have to sumbit TOGETHER WITH THE REST OF DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION needed for each kind of visa.
- APPLICANTS LESS THAN 18 YEARS OLD
1.1. BOTH PARENTS LIVING IN SINGAPORE
- Submit photocopy of passports of both parents
- Submit photocopy of Singaporean IC of both parents
- Submit certificate of birth or Passport of parents where the relationship is stated (Indian Passport holders for instance)
- Submit the latest 06 months bank statements of the at least one parent
1.2. ONE PARENT ONLY LIVING IN SINGAPORE:
- Submit photocopy of passports of both parents
- Submit photocopy of Singaporean IC of the parent who is a resident in Singapore
- Submit certificate of birth or Passport of parents where the relationship is stated (Indian Passport holders for instance)
- Submit the latest 06 months bank statements of the at least one parent
1.3 BOTH PARENTS ABROAD (NOT LIVING IN SINGAPORE):
- Submit photocopy of passports of both parents notarised and legalised at country of origin.
- Submit certificate of birth legalised or Apostilled at contry of origin
- Submit 3 latest months bank statements of at least one parent abroad notarised or authenticated if the applicant does not have account in Singapore
- Submit parental authorisation letter notarised and legalised
- Submit the latest 06 months bank statements of the at least one parent abroad notarised or authenticated if the applicant does not have an account in Singapore.
- 2. APPLICANTS 18 YEARS OLD and older: SPONSORSHIP in Singapore:
The sponsor has to present a notarised affidavit that must include the following documents:
1. Signed before the Singaporean Public Notary the letter of sponsorship
2. A photocopy of the sponsor’s passport
3. A photocopy of the sponsor’s Singaporean IC
4. A photocopy of the sponsor’s three latest months bank statements.
5. The latest 06 months' bank statement of the sponsor
- APPLICANTS 18 YEARS OLD and older: SPONSORSHIP from abroad (by parents):
Must include a notarial affidavit LEGALISED or APOSTILLED with:
• A photocopy of the sponsor’s passport
• A photocopy of the sponsor’s three latest months bank statements in English
• Signed before the Public Notary the letter of sponsorship
• The latest 06 months' bank statement of the sponsor
- SPONSORED SPOUSES in Singapore:
- Signed of letter of sponsorship by spouse in Singapore
- Submit photocopy of passport the sponsor spouse
- Submit photocopy of Singaporean IC of the sponsor spouse
- Submit certificate of marriage
- Submit 3 lates months bank statements of the sponsor spouse
- Submit the latest 06 months bank statements of the sponsor spouse
Photo Specifications
Note: We regret we cannot accept photographs that do not meet these requirements
Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:
- Taken against a light background (white or off-white) so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
- Clear share quality and with the face in focus.
- Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
- Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
- Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.
Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the centre..
Processing Time
The processing time of the visa applications is minimum of 15 working days.
BLS work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process your application, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Spain in Singapore. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same.
Visa Applications for certain nationals will require an additional security check that may result in longer visa processing time. Check the
Annex
16 for the list of these countries.
